1867318 - Leading ledger 0L disappears after Funds Management activation
Symptom
- You are productively using new General Ledger
- You activate Funds Management (PSM) subsequently
- In the IMG, the leading ledger is no longer visible after activating PSM
Cause
- PSM becomes an active application in your system.
- The leading ledger is still labeled as FI GLF. However PSM application is active in your system/client, and due to this mismatch, the leading ledger is not displayed in the IMG activity.
- Important remark: No configuration is deleted from your database.
Resolution
- Refer to SAP note 1386675. Report FMGL_CHANGE_APPL_IN_LEDGER will solve this. Make sure that SAP Notes 2171668, 2219498, 2224536 and 2264543 are implemented in your system before you execute the program FMGL_CHANGE_APPL_IN_LEDGER
- Once the leading ledger is visible again in customizing, the scenarios will have to be assigned manually. The reason is due to the fact that PSM provides new specific scenarios, and customers need to decide which fields will be used once PSM is active and therefore choose the scenarios that better fits their needs.
